The Problem
Our youth spends day in and day out in front of a television set, or a video game, where they get almost no exercise at all. Our youth becomes more and more sedentary with every video game that is released. Most of the education that they get comes from television programs with a questionable entertainment value; and even less education value.
We have a crisis in our hand and it is not so much the economy, or Iraq, since those two will come to pass. The bigger problem that we have is, the absence of real live role models for our youth; and the lack of youth programs that entertain, and educate kids today. They might watch their parents work hard every day of their lives, but if the only thing they have going for them is, who can score the highest at the newest video games, or the next party, or the next text message, we are in severe trouble.
